Young Person CAN (Community Action Network) Meeting
Following a very successful CAN (Community Action Network) meeting in January, Caldicot Town Team have partnered with Monmouthshire Housing Association to open our doors to young people between the ages of 11 and 20 for an evening of pizza and planning in CORE Caldicot on Wednesday 15th February 2023 from 6pm – 8pm.
CORE has had a wealth of ideas and suggestions since we opened up back in November 2022 and a lot of these ideas and projects are now work in progress, what we really want now however is the help of young people to develop our unique space to make it as accessible and diverse as possible for all age groups, sexes, race, religion or otherwise.
Young people has such a unique view of the world that is untainted by media, politics, self gain or anything else and we really want to harness some of these ideas a suggestions and make them a reality locally. After all, its their future, why shouldn’t they have a say!
So, If you or your child have an idea or a suggestion of a project or a theme, or an event, or anything else for that matter, then please do come along and share with us, we would be thrilled to work with you to develop ideas and plans for shaping our space for everyone.
We are providing some free pizza’s and soft drinks as a thank you for the participation in the evening.
